I'm still getting used to iNat's new project format and I don't see an option to invite users to the project. So tell your friends, spread it around!

Will, you are correct, there is no invitation functionality on the new style project for some reason.
Yes, and also no way to limit submissions to members only. So the project will simply aggregate all plant observations in Ontario. I don't think this will be an issue since the most active observers will likely be members anyways.
Actually you can do that, in the edit section of the project is a place where you can enter the names of users you want included.
It seems I'm already 78 species behind... I'll have to pick up the pace.
I look at it a different way, this is the only time of the year I will be as close to 78 behind, so I'm not worried at all.
@mws I don't think I'm even on there yet lol. There are still 358 days left!
An interesting thing about this challenge is that there's a finite amount of species that can be found. The more that you observe, the less there are left to find. After a while, the top-ranking observers are going to start slowing down, which gives the rest of us a chance to catch up.
