Over the weekend I went to a hiking trail in Pacifica, the temperature was fairly high. I had left at around 2 pm staying there for roughly an hour and a half, making 11 observations from one of the more shorter and straightforward trails. There weren't as many people and so I was able to see more animal life in comparison to other areas. Overall I'm planning to make another trip and see the other trails I missed.

This weekend I didn't visit any parks; however, I plan to go to another hiking trail next Saturday. I still don't have a specific trail in mind, but I plan to get roughly 10 or more observations. It may likely be more since the hiking trail I last visited was more straightforward and I plan to visit a more hands on trail. I plan to go at around early noon where the temperature isn't typically too hot/cold.

This week on Sunday I went to the same park in Pacifica as I did previously; however went on a different trail. I left to the Montara Mountain Trail early in the morning, arriving at the site at around 9 am. Since it was fairly early, there weren't as many people and was able to take some more time and make more observations at my own pace. The only down side was that I didn't really notice many insects and so am planning to visit a beach or a more humid park to find a larger array of insects and marine life.

This weekend I was unable to visit moss beach due to the weather change, however this rain will hopefully assist me in finding worms and snails on the sidewalk and parks. I went to the Pacifica State Beach on Wednesday and saw a few dead crabs on the sand and some ducks. I'm thinking of taking a short trip to the park over the weekdays (most likely Monday) and find three or two different phylum. For now, I plan to go to moss beach and/or a garden in Berkley and visit during the morning of next Saturday. I noticed that more animals get identified so hopefully I'll be able to see and take (clear) pictures of the creatures I find.
