Note snake mimicry of both Eastern tiger and spicebush swallowtail caterpillars. Note aposematic coloration of Eastern black swallowtail. The adults of these three species participate in a Batesian mimicry complex in which they mimic the highly distasteful pipevine swallowtail (Battus philenor)
