Kayaking and hiking British Columbia with "Plts of B.C" for many years has grown my interest in the ethnobiology of the area. Volunteering for Greenways Land Trust at the restoration area of Willow Creek in Campbell River has honed that interest. Restoring an area that a gas service station was on in the 1950s beside a creek is a challenge. Im immersed in books and youtube for propagarion methods and love live staking starting with willows and dogwoods. Obvious evidence and a active remains search nearby has increased my interest including a obvius midden and a food forest of crabapples. I journal all my progress and hrs and have done so for 5 years at approx 50 hrs a month. I see I naturalist has a tool to help me organise the diversity. I mostly work solo but enjoy having help especially planting. . I also intersted in caging methods for deer and beaver and mininmum water requirements for plantings for climate change
