Living in the biodiverse, southeastern Sandhills region straddling the Coastal Plain, I have come to love Carolina critters, creepy crawlies, and sprouting specimens. Most of the photos I've contributed are from our own acre of suburban backyard, located in a neighborhood surrounded by farm fields, Carolina Bays, and Longleaf pine forests.
