I have been interested in the Natural World my entire life, but have a special fondness for invertebrates, especially insects and spiders. I have worked professionally with a large number of taxa, including birds, mammals, reptiles, and invertebrates in major US institutions and gain a particular satisfaction to sharing my interests with other people of all ages.
In addition to my natural gravitation to animals, I also enjoy plants and fungi.
