I am a student of mycology at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, ON, CA. I specialize in forest pathology and basidiomycetous mating systems, particularly that of Inonotus obliquus (chaga). In Thunder Bay, ON I run mycology walks in the fall to educate the public. I want to grow the mycology scene in my hometown and get more people collecting for sequencing the mycodiversity of northwestern Ontario.
