I'm a self-taught naturalist and have been identifying plants for about 35 years now, insects since I got a decent digital camera about 10 years ago. Mostly I focus on species that live in the mid-Atlantic area, with a particular interest in the abundance and distribution of common weedy species.

Otherwise, I'm a mom with 4 kids and I volunteer on the local ambulance.
