I'm a self-taught naturalist (for 40 years or so now) from New Jersey with a particular interest in common weeds, new invasive species, and organisms that spring up unexpectedly in our everyday lives.

Otherwise I'm a stay-at-home mom of four nearly grown kids and a volunteer EMT with the local rescue squad.
