Based in Southern AZ, I'm an amateur interested in habitat preservation and restoration. I strongly advocate using locally native plants in landscaping and eradicating non-native, hybrid, and invasive species wherever they may be to support the animals and insects that depend on our native plants. I had some success doing this in Southern CA years ago, but although I grew up in AZ, I'm still learning plants here.
