I am a botanist and evolutionary biologist at UC Santa Barbara. Much of my work has been (and is) focused on the Columbine genus Aquilegia and close relatives (e.g., Semiaquilegia, Urophysa). I am also participating with the California Conservation Genomics project, https://www.ccgproject.org, studying Aquilegia, Nemophila menziesii, Rubus parviflorus, Marah spp, and Phyllospdix.
