My interest in Orchids started in Western Australia after photographing wildflowers but once I discovered terrestrial orchids I wanted to know more about them. We spent many years learning types of habitat they lived, which helped locate new species to photograph. It has been fun learning all the NZ orchid species after moving back here in 1995 and still lots to learn.
