I am a naturalist. I am a wildlife biologist who has worked in many natural resource positions for over 20 years, but I am most skilled with avian conservation (passerines, raptors, shorebirds) and wildlife habitat improvement practices. I enjoy conducting research and educating others about conservation. My yard is a mess of native plants, pollinators, and birds, and I am always, always learning new things about nature. Not much of an app person, but I have made an exception here, and I really appreciate the iNat community assisting me with identifications!
