I believe conservation and education are vital to sustaining the world. As a retired educator I have been involved with a number of environmental initiatives such as the Niagara Envirothon which was a secondary school environmental education program and competition. I also initiated Frogfest Niagara a nature festival. As a newcomer to Nova Scotia my wife and I have already had some wonderful nature experiences. We thoroughly enjoy the trails and nature areas we have visited to date.
