I am a Brazilian biologist, professor at Universidade Estadual do Rio Grande do Sul (Uergs) and president of a non-profit organization (GEMARS) dedicated to the scientific research and education programs related to the conservation of marine mammals and their habitats in Brazil. I have experience in zoology, marine biology and conservation, focusing on marine mammals, protected areas and endangered species.
