Birder since the age of 9, always striving to become a more well-rounded naturalist.

Previously a teaching assistant at the University of Vermont for Ornithology and Birding for Change, a field technician for the Bobolink Project in Shelburne, VT, and a point count technician for the 2nd Maine Bird Atlas. UVM graduate with a degree in Wildlife Biology.

Currently spending my field seasons banding Bicknell's Thrushes and other montane birds on Mount Mansfield in Vermont and searching for bees across the state with the Vermont Wild Bee Survey

Although I will always be a birder, I have recently developed a deeper interest in moths, bees, butterflies, fungi, lichens, odonates, wildlife tracking, and beetles, largely thanks to iNaturalist and the fantastic community of naturalists here!
