I started learning to identify birds in 2012 or so. Each year, I study a bit, get outside to observe birds and learn a few more. I'm also working on memorizing bird calls, although that is a fairly slow-going project. More broadly, I'm interested in knowing about all of the plants and animals and natural systems around me, and I love trying to answer my friends' questions about birds and nature.
