I have always been a naturalist but never really put a name to it until I joined the Master Naturalist program in Texas. I am originally from Arizona, where I grew up hiking and exploring the desert. I am excited to start the same journey here in Texas and discover the species here!

My favorite observation spot is at the Floating Bridge/Boardwalk in Lake Weatherford. Before iNaturalist, I had random sheets of papers, iPhone notes and WAY too many pictures on my phone of my observations. It's great to have a place to share my findings now!
