I am an advocate, specialising in constitutional and environmental law. As a director of the Welgemoed City Improvement District (WCID), I am also responsible for our Renosterveld Rehabilitation Initiative. This initiative seeks to protect remaining fragments of critically endangered Swartland Shale Renosterveld in our public open spaces and propagate plants from seeds & cuttings collected from local populations (with necessary approvals) to transform our parks & road verges into green corridors in support of the neighbouring Tygerberg Nature Reserve.
