I am an amateur naturalist with a passion for trees. Most of my knowledge comes from personal study, and I am eager to learn more. I am especially interested in the edible fruits and nuts of Appalachia as well as the trees of eastern US swamps.

I have previously volunteered with the VA State Parks Youth Conservation Corps (VSPYCC) program, an experience I strongly recommend.
