I am a behavioral ecologist, and I teach vertebrate biology and human physiology at UW Seattle and research hummingbirds in Bogota, Colombia!

I studied parental care and tadpole schooling in the Neotropical frog, Leptodactylus insularum for my PhD at the University of Connecticut.

I am interested in all types of animal behavior, currently parental care in anurans and hummingbird-plant interactions.
