Biology professor in southeastern Florida. I am an expert in deep-sea fishes, but also work with gopher tortoises, manatees, and terrapins. I like to study the flora and fauna of southeastern Florida habitats, especially coastal strand and dunes, scrub, pine flatwoods, and live oak hammocks. And I love to photograph plants and animals in other places when I travel.
