I am currently very fascinated by Ixodid ticks, primarily those capable of inducing tick paralysis. Tick Paralysis is a neurological disorder commonly caused by the Rocky Mountain tick (Ixodes andersoni). This tick is found in western North America. Humans and other animals are susceptible to tick paralysis.
