I’m a retired Law teacher of the Open University in the Netherlands. I have allways been and still am interested in nature in a broad spectrum. Birds, plants and other animals I spot on one of our travels abroad or in our home country. I allways try to find out the speciesname of the plant or animal I encounter on my walks through nature, but if I am not succesful I ask our son or daughter.
He pointed me to Inaturalist and I find it a great community of both professionals and amateurs like me, all inspired by our love for nature.
