I am an avid hiker and amateur photographer, and enjoy combining those two interests whenever possible. For many years I was senior editor of DOG FANCY and CAT FANCY magazines, and while I know a great deal about pets, these days I enjoy learning about our wild fellow creatures and their habitat.
