I am a native plant enthusiast. My favorite places to botanize are the South Sound prairies of Washington State and the subalpine and alpine zones of any mountain range I can get to.

I'm currently Immediate Past Chair of the South Sound Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society. I am also an active member of the Friends of Puget Prairies (FOPP) and manage the Prairie Appreciation Days project.
