I'm an avid birder and naturalist currently based in central Michigan. I’m a big fan of using trail cameras and other remote sensing techniques. I’m particularly fond of getting well off the beaten path and surveying under-explored areas.

Bird sightings are on eBird, although I add the ones I photograph here too.

I am an eBird regional reviewer and a member of the Pennsylvania Ornithological Records Committee and the Michigan Bird Records Committee.
