Born and raised in the desert Southwest, exploring canyons, stalking wildlife, and climbing mountains. Educated in the Northern Rockies/Pacific Northwest venturing through green river valleys, rocky peaks and forested backcountry. Have since been working primarily in the greater Southwest with native/endangered wildlife. Currently working and living on San Clemente Island, managing invasive mammals and researching the native fauna.

I am very much interested in cryptic species (think jaguars), sky island biodiversity, arid land adaptations, and human-wildlife interaction. I also love the sun and things that rely on it.
