I enjoyed my career as a cancer research scientist so much that I brought it home with me. After recovering from throat cancer and a laryngectomy, I followed my life-long interest in nature by taking up macrophotography and studying the little critters around me. I have a particular passion for spiders but all of nature is a continual fascination that makes each day a new adventure.
