Have loved observing all aspects of the natural environment since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. Butterflies are my singular interest but was married to naturalist Jim Anderson for 50 some years and we roamed the Oregon High Desert searching for and banding all sorts of raptors, especially Golden Eagles. Jim has gone out among the stars but I am active in the bird and butterfly groups here in Eugene, Oregon.
