I am a permitted bat ecologist and acoustics specialist located in the Monterey Bay area of California. I am currently researching hoary bats and red bats and their foraging activity in relation to urban proximity and migration timing. I've been a nature nut for life and will geek out on just about anything in the wild. Aside from bats, I'm especially partial to herps, owls, and wildflowers.
