Had a week long meeting to attend so took advantage of the new location to watch some local birds.

I had a fifth floor room with a balcony at the Holiday Inn Bayside. The neighbor below me had hummingbird feeders up and a couple green trees and bushes, so it was an excellent spot.

Also went with a friend to Bird Rock and watched some of the sea life out there. A distant bird was bobbing in the surf, but I've been unable to identify it so far. Hopefully can find a fairly clear pic and let the computer do the work.

On the last day, walked around the bay I was next to and managed to spot a few more birds.

Lifers on this trip: Western Gull, Townsend's Warbler, Anna's Hummingbird, Brown Pelican, and Red-crowned Parrot.
