March 8 Newton Exploration

On Sunday, I returned from Spring Break and decided to explore the campus that I have lived on for nearly a year now. The weather was chilly in the mid 40s and the sky was fairly gloomy. As I walked around campus in a loop, I saw plants that were both wild and cultivated. There weren't that many vibrant colors though because it is still the winter. Hopefully some bright colors will turn up on campus as the weather becomes warmer!

Boston College Reservoir

On 02/24/2020, I took a walk along the reservoir right next to my college campus. The weather was beautiful with clear skies and a light breeze that complimented the warmth of the sun. The temperature perfectly sat in the mid-50s (Fahrenheit of course). As I walked along the path, I observed the nature and life that surrounded me. The most obvious were the animals on the water and the people that moved past me, either exercising or enjoying a leisurely walk like myself. Then I tried looking at the plants where initially, nothing caught my attention. I tried my best to find eye-catching plants, but winter hasn't ended yet, and a lot of the plant life was very dull. I was excited, however, when I found smaller plant life, as opposed to the trees, that could survive in the winter's cold. Overall, my walk was relaxing and enjoyable.
