Webster Conservation Area

I went on a nature walk on Saturday to the Webster Conservation Area. It was a beautiful fall day, so I really enjoyed being outside. All of the leaves are changing, and it wad really nice. I was worried about finding invertebrates and did have some problems finding them. They can be hard to photograph because they are so small and can fly away. I saw some insects that I couldn't get a photo of. Once, I started looking more closely and specifically in more moist dark areas, I started to find more insects. I took a picture of an insect in a web at the beginning when I was struggling to find any insects. It was interesting because I saw many spiderwebs but never saw a spider. I also saw moss with the sporophytes on top which was unrelated to the theme but was cool to see. My favorite thing I saw was probably a centipede like insect but I'm not sure what it was exactly. Overall, it was a nice afternoon! I also put in a picture that I took of a really cool looking insect that I saw on upper campus randomly when I was walking to class.
