yakfur's Identifications

poor thing has fishing line stuck in its mouth, prob with a lure or hook attached. I tried to grab hold to see if I could get the fishing line out but the turtle went under the water. it was not able to close its mouth. there were lots of lures and fishing line snagged in the trees along the pond. I couldn't reach any of them to remove. I assume there are even more bits of line and hooks and lures in the submerged roots and branches.
