Found lying on the footpath on its back. Thought it was dead and realised it was alive when I went to move it.

This little beetle appeared on my ipad and had a wander. It seems to ether be damaged on its right side, or (much more interesting) have a parasite??

Partner had been mowing back lawn and came inside with garden clippings on him, which included a Christmas Beetle. We released him/her back into the outside.

Slower, more fluttery flight than the usual blues seen here, and perhaps a little larger
