Escaping from cultivation in Edmonton. Often growing in road curbs and along building walls
Getting worse every year in my garden. This is my last year for most of the lillies.
I cut down some heavily infested plants before the eggs started hatching, then pulled 20 adults out of the mulch.
Very large beavers in the pond area. There were 4 large adult ones and several babies. Sadly one baby had been been taken by birds and the carcas was on the sidewalk.
Wandering along road during first big rain of the spring. Location was blurred by site, presumably because of status in canada. The actual location was William Hawrelack Park. I've included this location to try and get people engaged in this population that is decimated by pesticides put in every year to clean the pond for the triathlon and presumably hammered by traffic and the curbs of the road.
