This nest showed up on this day, but it didn't have any eggs in it yet. There was a scrub jay who was very interested. The nest isn't there now and I think it got knocked about in the neighborhood brush clearing. There was no egg debris so maybe they still hadn't laid any yet.

Two adults spotted here at dusk last night and there was a lot of screeching going on from a nearby tree. If this bird isn't on a nest (one was perched in this exact spot last night too) I suspect there is one in the next tree over. The last photo might be a nest in the other tree.
