Puffballs on a log. Dry area with moss growing around it.

Pg 826 in FG. Matches description - pear shaped, brown with pore at top, found on wood, spores yellow to olive brown.

Found on I believe a yellow birch. Just off a beaten trail.

Found in a wet area. Bamboo is very dense with barely any plants to grow around it. It is without leaves because it is almost winter but stalk was green.

I think it is an elder of some sort. Found in the North Maine Woods about 2 miles off of Camp 106 road.

Light Purple flower. Semi hard stalk. Found near fish river. In fairly firm soil. Found among other brush.

Found in bogs, very wet soil. Around decaying tamerac. Moss every where. Orange fuzzy underside. Green somewhat rough top.

Found in compact soil. In bunches. Four leafed. No fruting body. Around other bunchberry, raspberry, and other.

Found on near beach, I'm shrubs growing up through. Somewhat wet soil. Long petoiled upper leaves.

Found in Fort Kent bog. With moss covering water. More water than land. Showing the lip and cup.

Found in patches, in firm soil along a walking trail. Big bud at the end of the ofbthe stem. Along with the three leaf pattern.

Found in woods near brook. Yellow/tan leaf buds sprouting from nodes.
