*Woodpecker 2 adults, 1 young in the pine tree's. Adult, believed to be a male came to eat very quickly. I managed to get a picture of his head only as he is very cautious and latched onto the brick and only had his beak on the landing where the food was. Than he went to the pine tree, ate and began pecking away at the tree for insects again. Very cautious. Bright red head, black and white body, feathers. Woodpecker's are "indicator species" of the biodiversity and conditions of forestry in our local ecosystem, seeing this family of 3 is a very good sign of a thriving, stable ecosystem : )
