1 bird floating on the water, no other animals nearby; duck or similar water bird type? might be a brant goose?; head/neck appear completely black, some of the body feathers are lighter in color
(to be fair though, the bird was far from the shore, in the middle of the water and the sun's position might have made it a bit backlit and hard to see coloration - I tried my best to get close, clear pictures)

Originally thought King Rail but Cricket Frog sounds similar too. The calls were slow and did not accelerate until I started recording via video. The photo is of the habitat (it was inside the foreground marsh grasses).
