Not a great picture for identification, little thing was too quick! Two babies were hanging on the back. Not sure what it is, antechinus was best guess. Discovered when moving an old rotten log in a woodland area.
Distinctive bushy tail clearly visible. Ran across road and then into stag, where it hid from car headlight.

Floating in the river before the Carrington Bridge just near Wickham Beach, found after large rainfall events in preceding weeks, could be at least a week deceased.
