L: 2-3 mm (on a shoe sole)
Characteristics: These globular springtails are dark brown, llegs and head brighter then the body. The base of the body shows a lightish „Y“-marking and bright bristles. Compound eyes composed of eight ommatidia (single eyes).
Habitat moist habitats near to the ground surface.
