Observed while undertaking Feral Cat control
Pics taken by fellow walkers Stu Thomas and Mark Green of the Forbes Alpine Recreational Club.
Entering this sighting on behalf of a resident of Yowrie.
This “old male” quoll was sighted around their property for two years, with their last sighting in April last year.
Yowrie and much of the rest of the Bega Valley Shire was heavily hit by the 2019-2020 fires.
It was very comfortable near them.
Road kill 18-19th March on Chifely road Clarence NSW
Spotted in a wattle tree in a house front garden. Had an injury at tail base - likely fox bite + abscess. Subsequently trapped, taken to a vet and currently recovering as of time of posting.
Roadkill on 100kph road, nighttime kill. Moved to side of road 😭😭
The same one I had on wildlife camera 2.7km away about 10 days ago. Spots are a perfect match. Very sad end to something so beautiful
Entered campsite at approximately 12:39 am and returned on several occasions until 06:13am before running up the ridgeline as the sun rose.
35mm photo, appeared to be sub-adult.
Apologies poor distant photo
