3 mesal carpals and 3 mesal propodal spines. May be a fourth spine at the end of the propodus but it would be very blunt if so. I think carapace is too robust laterally to be E. angustus but very happy to be disagreed with! Both claws were self-amputated despite careful handling, hence odd photos.
I believe these guys used to be more common around here (according to my grandpa), but there isn't too many anymore. I'll very occasionally see some kind of quail when I am driving across the paddock. This is the first I've noticed around the house
