Specimen found growing on log that was submerged in water. Half of the specimen's stipe was under water.
Habitat: Inundated sphagnum area with a mix of Hemlock, Birch, Maple and Rhododendron
On a rotten hardwood log tiny white tooth fungi.

Chapeau 7,5 cm diam. jaune, visqueux, avec squamules brun roux, à marge incurvée.
Lames jaune pâles, adnées, sinuées, serrées, avec lamellules. Arêtes érodées.
Pied 10 cm longueur x 1.5 cm largeur, devenant creux, avec rhyzomorphes.
Odeur terreuse, saveur douce, fongique.
Sporée brun roux.

Érablière à caryer, chênes, hêtres. Au sol, grégaire.
Chapeau jusqu’à 4 cm. diam, viscidule.
Lames pourprées sur les jeunes spécimens, interveinées, sinuées.

Pied jaunâtre, strié, creux, longueur jusqu’à 6 cm.

Growing on petioles of dead Matteucia strutiopteris leaves on both dormant and leafy plants. Co-occuring on some plants with a white corticioid (DG2108083). Locally abundant. Yellowish-brown with lighter margins. Pendulous and growing in clusters. Basidiocarps 1.0 to 2.5 mm long and 0.5 to 1.1 mm wide. Context white. Odor not distinctive. All structures inamyloid. Clamps present. Hairs yellowish, smooth and thick-walled. Basidia 2-sterigmate to 4-sterigmate. Spores smooth, hyaline and thin-walled. Spore measurements: (8.7) 9.2 – 11.7 (12.9) × (3.2) 3.5 – 3.9 (4.3) µm, Q = (2.2) 2.4 – 3.3 (3.7); N = 30, Me = 10.5 × 3.7 µm; Qe = 2.9.

Found on the underside of a rotting deciduous log, Quebec, Canada.
Waxy texture.
White spore print.
Spores 4,2-4,8 x 2,3-2,6um.
Septate hyphae and cystitia.
