Better view of one I saw that @dsnell posted previously. Wondering if it’s a hybrid? Much darker than any green I’ve ever seen turn. Comments welcome!
I'm not a lizard expert and don't pretend to be. I see that this species, Broad-headed, rarely has been found south of Ocala. This might be a first for Pinellas County. Then again, this one may just be the "expected" Southeastern Five-lined Skink. Thoughts?
Note that its left front foot is missing. It was a good six-inches long or so.
What kind of toad is this?
