This was a solitary fungus probably associated with a red oak but right at the dripline of a few trees. deep blue stain on all parts, fairly long tubes and lingering bitter aftertaste. This bolete is way to early for these kinds of boletes. Weather was extremely dry except or a nice rain that brought this fungus out.
Will be sent to the Utah Lanmaoa study for coding and archiving

A single, very delicate sporocarp growing out of a rotting log base in the forest on the hill behind the Huntington Reservoir. The last 2 photos show it a few hours later, having changed its color significantly due to bruising in transportation.
