Growing on the summit of kunanyi / Mt Wellington… how did it get here??

Sorry yet another one, it helps with our mapping.
A scatter if seedlings under bracken on the firebreak.

Right on the summit of kunanyi /Mt Wellington, behind the toilet block, where the excess clean water flows. Also where trucks pull up for maintenance. Very concerning.

In the compound of the radio tower, Mt Wellington pinnacle

Growing 500m past the Chalet on pinnacle road, kunanyi, over 1000m asl on undisturbed scree slope

Not entirely sure if it’s Leptospermum laevigatum. Either way we will treat this as a weed and remove it.

This is depressing - 200m from the summit loop of kunanyi

Happy to be corrected on this ID. At Big Bend carpark, around 1100m. Never seen before on the mountain.

Above Springs at a previously known site. I check this every year but these ones nearly got away. Also Verbascum thapsus.
