Racoon (Procyon lotor) tracks
active latrine with ongoing activity and scat depositions
I was able to make this conclusion through the help of Smithsonian's signs in front of the exhibit.
active latrine with ongoing activity and scat depositions
ID suggested but I need to explore.
Found on a decaying stump of an unknown tree that had several fungi growing. Genus Schizophyllum has been suggested. No picture of the underside yet.
Genus Stereum suggested. Found on a fallen decaying log that had several other fungi in residence. The tails/brackets(?) form cups. Parts of this formed very definite cups/funnels. Seems like Stereum outreach is a real possibility, just that the group I found has more cup shaped formations than Mushroom expert photos.
