We were hanging around at camp when this rat snake fell from a tree with this flying squirrel. I'm sure the squirrel was alive when they first hit the ground but it wasn't moving. The snake didn't seem to mind that we were watching this and it proceeded to eat the squirrel.

Hiked up to look for this on White Mt butterfly count. Only one individual on two days (same wingtip pattern). It is worn and not very silvery (only some light), but chevron pattern distinctive. 11,500', and a well known location for them
